What We Believe

That God is Creator of ALL that lives; the beasts of the field, and of the seas, fowl of the air, plants, forests, mountains, meadows, waters, oceans, and ALL that exists in the world and universe, every planet, star, earth… all that is in the universe.  He created man from the dust of the earth and breathed into him His very own breath, and man became a living soul. Genesis 1:1-31   Genesis 2:1-7.

That every person has worth as the creation of God, but “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23; Salvation comes to those who repent of their sins, confess their faith and acceptance of Christ Jesus as their Savior, and are baptized into Him.  Romans 10:9, Acts 2:38 That those who trust Jesus Christ as Savior & Lord receive forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life.  Those who do not receive Christ will receive eternal punishment after death. Rev. 1:18, 20:13

That Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary who became man in the flesh; who was crucified on a cross for the sins of the whole world; He arose from grave and ascended back to heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father ever making intercession for those who call upon Him. I Corinthians 15:1-8

In the Triune Godhead, God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit who are one, yet three with distinct personalities, working together to accomplish the will of the Father and bring all to repentance through Christ.  The Holy Spirit is a “person” not an  “it,” He an be grieved (Ephesians 4:30) not only lives in us, but also is present with us to teach, convict of sin, comfort, bring peace, and wisdom. The Holy Spirit was sent by God after Jesus ascended to heaven to help us live victoriously in life. I Thess. 3:11-13, Matthew 28:19-20, John 14:16-18,24-26; Luke 12:12

In following the Lord’s  command in Water Baptism through emersion, once we have accepted Christ as Savior, that this is the process of salvation and the new life in Christ.

In being filled with the Holy Spirit. when we accept Christ as Savior, and also the infilling of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, Acts 2:4; Acts 10:38, 44-46; 19:6; I Corinthians 14:2, 5, 18, 39-40

That the Holy Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God profitable for doctrine, correction, and instruction in righteous living. It is the only authority for our faith (what we believe) and practice (how we live) 2 Timothy 3:16.

That we as Christians are to witness of our love for Christ, bear fruit  (win others to the Lord) , walking in  love and forgiveness. John 15:1-2; 16-17 Ephesians 4:32.

That we as Christians should pray daily Ephesians 6:18 and read God’s word (His love letter to us) for spiritual growth & guidance, and to be able to live a victorious life, like Jesus  before others.

That living out of the Christian life, means just that.  Obstaining from anything contrary to God’s word or willfully living in sin.  Living a pure life before Him, with the help of the Holy Spirit, walking in the light of Christ according to God’s word.  Walk the talk.

That Jesus Christ will one day return, the dead in Christ will rise, then we that are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and we will be with Him forever. (I Thessalonians 4:13-18  We believe that “death” here on earth, to those who know Christ, is simply a change of address and that we really never die, but live eternally with Him in heaven, where there is no more death, sorrow, crying, or pain.  Revelation. 21:3-5.
